Further Outline Planning Application for new homes off Claydon Road

An Outline Planning Application for a further 74 homes off Claydon Road, Cropredy (“Phase 2”), has been submitted to Cherwell District Council. These proposed homes are in addition to those already approved for this site (“Phase 1”). The closing date for comments by those on the Neighbour List is 11 January 2026 and the deadline for the Consultees (which includes Cropredy Parish Council) is 17 January 2026. Efforts are being made to have these deadlines extended.

If you are intending to submit comments on the Application, please be aware that there are a specific set of issues that will be taken into account when the Application is considered. These issues are “Material Considerations” and are shown in the attached chart. Your comments should be focussed on those issues identified in GREEN font whilst those in RED font should be avoided. The Local issues identified in YELLOW font may, or may not, be relevant and consequently care should be taken when citing these.

The Application reference is 25/03234/OUT. A site Location Plan for the development is given in the attached document.
